I have never had a good experience with Delta; once it took about three days to get from NY back to Fla; I started trying to get home on a Sunday and finally made it back in the early hours of Tuesday morning. No apologies in fact I was told to apologize to a staff member at the White Plains airport when I told them they had to bump someone else this time.
The last trip on Delta had to do with being told I couldn't get on the flight for which I had a boarding pass with my name on it. The rude person at the desk told me it was a "sold out flight", when I asked her who was sitting in my assigned seat, she began to shout at me. My luggage got home hours before I did.
I literally had no recourse--incompetence was in control!

It's semi-understandable to write a letter -- even one this whiny -- and send it privately to the company that does you wrong. A company that you say you're a big fan of (in present tense) and that, apparently, has only done you wrong one time. It's something else again to write it and post it on-line as being worthy of a public audience. Something very telling about just how far out of whack your self of sense becomes when people stop you on the street just for showing up on TV.

My God- this is horrific. If someone as self important as the whiteboard guy for UPS AND A (let us genuflect in respect) a ****CD*****at a BIG ad agency can't get a little respect from an airline--what scant hope do the rest of us have? THis is just awful. I am inspired to start a charitable foundation for the purpose of rehabbing the family. And a little leftover to give whiteboard guy a decent hair style.
