    Must agree with these comments. What’s the point of these posts? If you can’t corroborate the rumors, and don’t have the guts to print them anyways, then don’t be a dick and present these Madlibs. This is all another example of Matt’s lack of ability – and the main reason why people don’t feel the desire to visit regularly.

    C+M info is true. They got rid of 6, including a Creative Director. They sold their B2B business as well. Things are looking rough. No ECD, no head of planning, no head of media, no head of interactive...their leadership looks like moldy swiss cheese. You have the world's most powerful CFO doing the job of the ageless wonder Phil Johnson (COO). Their head of new business has no agency experience. Seriously, what the fuck. How is that a recipe for success. Who in their right mind would want to come to C+M and take over as ECD? There's too little action, too much talk, and far too much managing via consensus.

    It's tragic. A year ago they were headed upward. Now it looks like they're done for.

    Auto business is in the shitter.
    And that's the big budget work that used to provide at least one or two good spots.
    The non-automotive clients in the D are few and very infrequently approving good work.
    There were a couple of awards given out to ads that have been done so many times that they are ad cliches. Poor showing by the ACDs, ECD at Team Detroit and more importantly, the judges of this show.
    Who knows. Maybe the judges think that the work is so pathetic, they vote for work that makes a mockery of the D show.
