I think it's a great commercial. In fact, I find Canadian television ads to be generally much better than those in the U.S.

This is so much better than the creepy ghost girl we have to watch.

And we make fun of the French in plenty of commercials and you don't see them getting all defensive.

I thought it was a cute bit...I love dry humor. Speaking of humor, it's funny that Americans who constantly mock Canada (and have probably never spent more than a day or two there, if that) get all salty when Canada pokes a little harmless fun at our (undeniably fat and sedentary) country.
