    call me old (ok I'm old) . . . but munching digital 'pop corn' on a mass execution doesn't prevent it from happening, doesn't create any 'situational awareness' . . . it's symptomatic of a 'bearing witness' culture where we just point to something and sensationalize it. Guess it's good for the revenue side of things for the Austin Statesman -- eyeballs on the site metrics. Behaviorally, it begs the question of what a person do in an emergency where someone needs help, someone they don't know or frankly 'care' about -- call 911, try to assist or tweet it? It's a hypothetical jump ball
